Salla

What the app does

• Install from the Salla app store. SeekGist creates your store and reads your products page by page, in Arabic and English. Salla's product webhooks (created, updated, deleted) keep them fresh.
• Search on your storefront: your theme's search box shows SeekGist suggestions and results. The app adds its own small script, so there is nothing to paste.
• Safe fallback. If SeekGist is slower than 300 ms or fails, your store's own search answers. See Store fallback.
• An admin page that opens from Salla: on/off switch, sync status and "Sync now".

Install

1. Open the Salla app store, find SeekGist, and click Install. Approve the access.
2. SeekGist opens, creates your store and starts the first product sync.
3. Your theme's search box now shows SeekGist suggestions. Search in Arabic and in English to check.

Turn it off

Use the switch in SeekGist, or turn off SeekGist search in the app settings in Salla. Your store's own search comes back at once.

Good to know

• The app reads the Salla store id from the storefront and uses your store's search page (/search?q=) for the fallback. These two points still need a check on a live Salla store.
• SeekGist stores no shopper names, emails or addresses. See Security and your data.
